If you’re from the northeast, you are probably nodding your head right now. After much anticipation, we’re proud to have Russo’s Pizzeria & Italian Kitchen, right here in Bridgeland!
Located in Lakeland Village Center, near the intersection of Bridgeland Landing Drive and Fry Road, the pizzeria and restaurant is owned and operated by Anthony Russo. Chef Russo, a New Jersey transplant, has been serving authentic Italian dishes and pizza to the Greater Houston area since 1992, when he opened his first pizzeria in downtown Houston.
On the website you’ll find a classic Italian pizzeria menu, full of authentic cuisine including pastas, calzones, and specialty items, such as chicken piccata, eggplant parmesan and more. You’ll also find nutritional information, specials, catering options and free delivery. It’s a dream come true for area residents. No longer do you need to ask on social media for the best place for pizza. It’s right here in Bridgeland, and if you have dietary restrictions, it gets better! Russo’s Pizzeria & Italian Kitchen also offers gluten-free pasta and a cauliflower crust option for those who love pizza, but are avoiding gluten.

Chef Russo learned to cook traditional favorites in the family kitchen. He worked with his grandparents to learn to make fresh-from-scratch mozzarella cheese and brings his family’s secret recipes to the pizzeria. Russo is honoring the family legacy by sharing the menu he developed using these recipes, fresh ingredients and imported cheese blends so that we can, “mange bene.”
Russo wants for us to eat well. He looks forward to meeting families and residents who come to the restaurant to share conversation and a meal that was prepared from recipes passed from one generation to the next.
