Coming soon to Bridgeland will be a luxury townhome option called City Series by Highland Homes. The exteriors of the townhomes were designed exclusively for Bridgeland and will be conveniently located near schools, parks and shopping.
They’re the first for-sale residential section in Bridgeland Central and aptly named for their location within what will become Bridgeland’s future urban hub. The 925-acre mixed-use center located just off Grand Parkway will include office and retail space, dining and entertainment, hospitality services as well as residences like the City Series townhomes.
Located at the intersection of Bridgeland Creek Parkway and Mason Road in the neighborhood of Pennybacker, the buildings will feature two to four units and will offer 25-foot front-loaded homes and 22-25-foot alley units, all of which are designed in a modern eclectic architectural style. Units will have three bedrooms and range from 1,761 to 2,300 square feet with some floorplans including a fourth bedroom option.
Bridgeland Central is envisioned to be a mixed-use center, linking all four villages. The community’s vast trail system will connect to Bridgeland Central, making it a true centerpiece of village life. Its close proximity to Grand Parkway makes it easily accessible to surrounding neighborhoods.
The development of City Series by Highland Homes was conceived by Heath Melton, who led Bridgeland’s residential development since 2015, prior to becoming President of the Phoenix Region for Howard Hughes, where he is now overseeing the company’s new 37,000-acre master planned community. “Bridgeland has become a leader in providing unique product offerings designed to suit the needs of today’s homebuyers who have made Bridgeland the #1 selling master planned community in the Greater Houston area,” said Melton.
City Series townhomes will embrace modern design trends. The homes’ exteriors, unique to Bridgeland, will include dark angular roof lines that contrast a light stucco exterior. Large windows add to the inviting frontage while providing tons of natural light to interiors with vaulted ceilings. And one of the best features of these townhomes is their location. Offering residents the best of both worlds, these townhomes are positioned within future Bridgeland Central, providing walkable access, yet simultaneously offering residents access to hike and bike trails and Josey Lake for fishing and kayaking – just steps away.
“The townhome series’ city-inspired architecture fits in perfectly with the neighborhood’s proximity to Bridgeland’s future urban core,” said Steve Sams, Senior Vice President of MPC Residential for the Howard Hughes Corporation. “Coupled with its proximity to recreational opportunities, City Series will appeal to those seeking an elevated residential experience with access to greenspace and best-in-class amenities.”
Another benefit to owning a townhome for those who are on-the-go is the lock-and-leave lifestyle this type of home ownership provides. Empty nesters who travel frequently, young professionals focused on their career, or busy young families will benefit from outdoor maintenance and mowing included.
“We are thrilled to launch our City Series luxury townhomes in Bridgeland.” said Aaron Graham, President, Highland Homes. “Designed by our in-house architecture team, City Series is truly impressive and lives larger than you’d expect from a traditional townhome. We wanted this series to feel like a detached home, so we really increased the natural light, added outdoor spaces, and elevated the buildings to have a modern vibe that’s a perfect fit for Bridgeland. From young professionals to families to empty nesters or anyone looking for a lock-and leave lifestyle, the Highland City Series will be a hit.” Model units will be coming soon.
