At the Houston Business Journal’s 25th Annual Landmark Award Gala in April, Bridgeland was honored with the prestigious Landmark Award for Residential Development. The win is a reflection of the community’s real estate and design achievements.
Bridgeland’s concept started with the idea of creating a lifestyle where people and nature can purposefully coexist. By rolling up their sleeves and allowing imaginations to question not if, but how, the Howard Hughes Corporation continues to garner notoriety for the masterful design of Bridgeland.
Throughout 2018 Bridgeland had numerous achievements including the launch of the community’s signature amenity, Josey Lake; the opening of Parkland Village, the development’s second village; additional development at the commercial site known as Lakeland Village Center; and the announcement of an upscale multifamily project. The Landmark Award honored these notable successes in comprehensive planning and execution. In addition, the community was recently honored by the National Association of Home Builders, winning the Gold Award for Best Lifestyle Program and the West Houston Association Sustainability Star Award for low impact and development design of Bridgeland Creek Parkway. Josey Lake was given the Award of Excellence by the American Society of Landscape Architects, adding to the recognition Bridgeland has received for exceptional design and execution.
Residents are anxiously awaiting new enhancements in 2019 that will again prove Bridgeland is a leader in the residential development field. In the coming months, the completion of exciting new amenities such as Dragonfly Park, a linear park system named Parkland Common, Harmony Grove, and the new multifamily project Lakeside Row, will delight residents and draw others to choose Bridgeland as their home.
Producing and achieving the best for Bridgeland’s residents, both present and future, is the top priority for the Howard Hughes Corporation. The community achieved record sales in 2018, and with more creative enhancements on the horizon, residents are eager to learn how these will shape the future of the growing development.
Bridgeland’s sister community, The Woodlands, also received recognition at the Landmark Awards Gala. The Woodlands was a finalist in both the Project Sale category for Lake Front North at Hughes Landing and the Public/Private Partnerships category for The Woodlands Waterway.
The Howard Hughes Corporation is continually seeking new ways to impact the everyday, giving residents new ways to experience life. By maintaining high standards and embracing nature, Bridgeland has once again added to its growing list of achievements and awards.
