Kids’ Art Workshop:
Each day, artists will be teaching a workshop for kids. Tickets are limited to 25 kids at each session and tickets can be obtained at the Welcome Tent (first come first serve).

Join Florence Williams for a Nature Immersion Experience
Florence Williams is an American journalist and author whose work focuses on the environment, health and science. We are honored to have Florence Williams, author of the Nature Fix, join us for the grand opening of Prairieland Village on May 21. Florence will speak on stage at 12:15 PM on the health benefits, both mental and physical, that one can experience when spending time in nature. Afterward, you’ll have the opportunity to buy an autographed copy of one of her books.
She will start the day with a Nature Immersion Experience at 9:30 AM at Josey Lake Park (19312 Bridgeland Creek Pkwy.). The nature tour will last approximately one hour and will be a unique opportunity to explore the vast natural offerings surrounding Josey Lake. Guests should plan on arriving 15 minutes early. Please wear bug spray and sunscreen. Water will be provided. Every family that attends the Nature Immersion Experience will receive an autographed copy of her book – The Nature Fix – while supplies last.
