9th Annual Howl-O-Ween Fest
Oct. 21, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Oak Meadow Park
Plans are underway for the 9th Annual Howl-O-Ween Fest and we are certain you’ll have a doggone good time.
Headlining the stage this year will be The Super Collies. Their trainer, Sara Carson, is known as one of the top trick dog instructors in the world. If these cute pups look familiar, it’s because you’ve seen them on this season of America’s Got Talent! We are fortunate to have them performing for us this year.
Additional acts on the stage this year will be the Dynamo Dogs, Houston Disc Dogs and The Amazing Blake. Guests will be able to feast on a whole pack of food trucks, enjoy a multitude of kids’ activities sponsored by The Foundry, try their skills at pumpkin decorating and sand art, and explore the vendor area with pet products and services.
What fall event would be complete without trick-or-treating? Our vendors will have treats for both pets and kids! Last but not least will be the annual favorite – the pooch fashion show and costume contest. The top three winners will receive a gift card.
Admission and most activities are free of charge while a few will fetch a small donation. All proceeds from Howl-O-Ween Fest will be given to our participating rescue groups. They will be on hand throughout the day with pet adoptions and to raise awareness about all the great work they do to help find homes for animals in need.
