We had a howling good time this year at Howl-O-Ween Fest! 8,800 people and their beloved furry friends joined us for a beautiful October day. Nearly $3,000 was raised for our rescue groups who were onsite doing pet adoptions and recruiting foster families.
Headlining the stage this year was America’s Got Talent finalist The Super Collies. Trainer Sara Carson and her super cute collies, Hero and Loki, wowed the stage with their talent. Sara also gave us some helpful hints on how we can train our own pups to do some very similar tricks.
Additional acts on the stage this year were the Dynamo Dogs, Houston Disc Dogs and The Amazing Blake. Families had a great time in the Fall Fest area sponsored by The Foundry. Other favorite activities for the day included pumpkin decorating and sand art, trick-or-treating in the vendor area, the doggie fashion show, farmers market, and delicious cuisine from the food trucks.
Thank you to all who joined us. Save the date for next year – we hope to see you on October 27, 2018!
