Friday Night Bites is quickly becoming a Friday night favorite in Cypress. This month’s event will run from 6 to 10 p.m. This month, we will host a back-to-school donation drive benefitting Cy-Hope, a local organization dedicated to bringing hope and opportunity to every child in the Cy-Fair area. Donate new school supplies of $5 or more and receive a ticket for a complimentary face painting. If you don’t have time to shop, bring a $5 donation and Cy-Hope will purchase them for you!
Friday Night Bites includes the following food trucks: D’Lish with southern comfort food; Falacos with vegan and gluten-free fare; the Cajun Asian fusion stylings of KAOW, Hangreek with Greek food; Truck on the Bayou’s Cajun offerings; Bright Relish Chicago dogs; Japanese food from Dojo Hibachi and American comfort food from Pounders.
In addition, Skye Cafe will also offer a kids’ menu. For dessert, PretzTex (stuffed pretzels), N’awlins Sneaux Bawls (snow balls), Barrel’s Sweet Tea (homemade iced teas) and The Baker’s Man (Bundt cakes) will all be on hand.
Athletistry Performing Arts Center, which will open at Lakeland Village Center later this year, will perform during the event. Athletistry recently won top studio (Ultim8 Studio) at 8 National Talent Competition’s 2017 Grand Nationals Tournament in Gulf Shores, Ala. Skye Cafe will host two activities this month: Lil’ Chef’s Corner will be giving demonstrations on unique lunch options for kids and at 8 p.m., head over to the Story Time Tent to enjoy a reading of two favorite children’s stories.
We encourage you to bring blankets and lawn chairs with you and remember, no glass containers permitted.
