Ready to be on island time? Friday Night Bites is going tropical.

The monthly Friday night favorite is stepping up its game for July and offering more food, more flavor and more fun than ever before. If you haven’t been on island time so far this summer, now is your chance.

Join us at Lakeland Village Center on July 14 from 6 to 10 p.m. and this month’s theme is Island Nights.

What island party would be complete without live music? Enjoy performances by School of Rock as well as Bama Breeze Sounds who’ll take us to paradise with their steel drums. And you won’t want to miss The Wizard of Oz performers whose musical will debut later this month. For pint-sized culinary enthusiasts, Lil’ Chef’s Corner, sponsored by Skye Cafe, will host a cooking demonstration around 7 p.m.
