Feed your Tex-Mex cravings at Chilosos Taco House

Living in Texas gives you the opportunity to experience the blended cultures of the southwest and Mexico. At Bridgeland’s Lakeland Village Center, you can now experience the flavors of this blended culinary delight at the newest taco sensation, Chilosos Taco House.

Established in 2007, the Myers family started Chilosos Taco House raising the bar on taco quality. Ten years later, the family has come to Cypress, opening their third location in Houston at Bridgeland’s Lakeland Village Center to share their family recipes that harmoniously combine Texas and Monterrey flavored favorites.

The partners were attracted to the community’s open hospitality and the ability Bridgeland has to bring people together. Jesse Myers, one of the partners, is also a Bridgeland resident, and believes the opening of Chilosos will expand ways for this great community to grow.

Using only fresh ingredients, the corn and flour tortillas are made to order. Many online reviewers comment on how wonderfully they taste, inviting everyone to try them.

Whether you are heading to Chilosos to pick up a breakfast taco for the morning commute or for lunch on Taco Tuesday, you can “taco up” as the menu suggests, by customizing them with their many offerings of fixin’s like fresh cheese, cilantro or tomatoes.

For those wishing to dine in, their menu offers everything from appetizers to main dishes and specials. You can get started with a giant margarita or an ice-cold beer from the full bar. You can finish your meal with one of their crispy, fried cinnamon pastries – a la mode, of course.

Do you brunch? Chilosos has your weekend covered, and if you’re planning a wedding, Chilosos Taco House is the exclusive caterer for the Mia Bella Vita wedding venue located in Tomball. The restaurant also features a glassed-in kitchen where you can watch while homemade tortillas are being made. The vibrantly colored mural that boldly states ‘sabroso,’ which means savory, reminds you of the origin for what you are about to taste.

Before setting up their storefront, Chilosos was a steady participant in Friday Night Bites, Bridgeland’s monthly gathering of family, friends and food trucks. Customers who flocked to enjoy the savory flavor can now enjoy the flavors from Myers’ family recipes six days a week. And don’t miss Chilosos grand opening tomorrow night, during September’s Friday Night Bites!

Located at 10535 Fry Road, Chilosos Taco House will be open 7 a.m. – 9 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday.
