The area’s newest fitness facility, F45 Training, opened its doors in Bridgeland last month. If you haven’t heard of F45 Training, you will very soon! F45 combines high-intensity interval training/tabata-style training with the best of CrossFit, traditional weight training, boxing, MMA, surfing and cardio-based programs.
The grand opening was a rousing success, with Cypress residents turning out to learn all about the high-intensity workouts. With music from DJ Dom and refreshments supplied by local businesses, co-owners Jodi Morton and Samantha Hall gave visitors their introduction to functional training programs offered by F45 Training.
F45 is a global company that originated in Australia that brings more than 3,000 functional movements to its classes in a crisp, simple-to-follow format.
Designed as a class that can be attended daily, the workouts are never repeated and challenge all body parts. In all, F45 offers 27 different styles of classes and more than 3,000 different training movements. Classes are either cardio or resistance based, with some combining the two.
“Our goal is to meet the needs of our members by offering a complete workout system that translates into their daily life movements,” Morton said. “Every move we practice has a real-life application and contributes to overall health and strength. As we grow and nurture our fitness family, we look forward to giving back to Cypress in many different ways, including helping one another to get stronger and healthier.”
