If you’ve ever watched Animal Planet, you know Jeff Corwin. Famous for his television programs “The Jeff Corwin Experience” and “Corwin’s Quest” on Animal Planet, Corwin is one of the country’s most recognizable wildlife biologists and nature conservationists.
Now TV’s most famous wildlife biologist is coming to Bridgeland, headlining our 10th Annual Nature Fest on April 29.
Corwin will entertain the Nature Fest crowd several times throughout the day, which will be held in Oak Meadow Park. The event, which will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., will include an animal experience from Corwin that Bridgeland officials say no one will want to miss!
In addition to Corwin, the 10th Annual Nature Fest will also include the Great American Duck Race, whimsical rides from Austin Bike Zoo, armadillo races, a petting zoo, pony rides, and the Crocodile Encounter.
Beloved mascot Bridgeland Bill will participate in a birthday celebration while families enjoy an interactive performance from Drum Café as well as arts and crafts, nature-oriented exhibits, an inflatable zone and much more.
Nature Fest guests will also enjoy more than 20 food trucks, a farmers market, face painting, world-class roaming performers and other family-friendly activities. Nature lovers who get there early will receive a special 10th Anniversary Nature Fest T-shirt (while supplies last) to commemorate the special day.
Admission, stage performances and many activities at Nature Fest are free of charge, while some activities will require a small fee to participate. All proceeds will be donated to Cy-Hope, a local organization dedicated to bringing hope and opportunity to every child in the Cy-Fair area.
